Prior to HomeBay, Tom co-founded Zurple, a software company that powers marketing for more than 4,000 realtors and reached #33 on the Inc. 5000 before being acquired in 2015. Tom also started a tech-powered real estate brokerage in Southern California that continues to dominate its local market. He has over a billion dollars in transaction experience, worked in the White House speechwriting office, graduated from law school at UCLA, was an M&A attorney at Cooley and completed his undergraduate studies at UC Berkeley. He lives in Hillsborough, CA, with his wife and two kids. When he isn’t helping HomeBay customers, you may find him playing soccer, skiing or jamming on his guitar.
Joe Zulli Technology
Joe has been building and scaling startups for the last 13 years, which includes co-founding 3 of his own. Prior to HomeBay, Joe co-founded Savings.com, where he served as CTO. A veteran of the online advertising industry, Joe led the design and engineering of the company's technology and marketing platforms. He also played a pivotal role in leading Savings.com through its eventual $100M exit in 2012. Joe holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of California Santa Barbara. In addition to HomeBay, Joe enjoys spending time playing guitar, doing CrossFit, practicing Yoga, traveling, and being a die-hard Lakers fan.
Ryan Owen Revenue
Prior to HomeBay, Ryan was CEO of Zurple, a software company he cofounded in 2009 and led to a successful exit in 2015. Ryan also cofounded a tech-powered real estate brokerage in Southern California whose expertise in real estate lead generation and conversion was the genesis for Zurple. Earlier in his career, Ryan ran business development and international operations at Savings.com, which was acquired by Cox Media for $100M. Ryan graduated from the MBA program at UCLA Anderson and also completed his undergraduate studies at UCLA. In addition to HomeBay, Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, traveling abroad, watching La Liga soccer and drinking European wine.
Eddie Earnest Marketing
Eddie has spent the past 7+ years helping companies with outsized visions operating in outsized markets gain critical early traction and exciting growth. He has built and scaled customer acquisition programs from scratch for SaaS startups in the higher education, human resources, and real estate industries. Most recently, Eddie ran marketing and sales for Zurple until the company's exit in late 2015. Eddie holds a BSBA in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA from the University of Florida. He loves spending time with his wife, learning to surf, butchering great songs on the guitar, and fantasizing about a world where everyone else likes playing chess as much as he does.
